Resident Onboarding: How to Apply for Unit Registration or Submit a Move-In Request

Modified on Mon, 23 Jun at 1:25 PM

Whether you're a Landlord, Tenant, or submitting on behalf of someone else, this guide walks you through how to either register yourself to a unit or submit a move-in request via the Socienta app.

 Important Note

  • If you do not see any units assigned to you on the app, you need to either apply for the Landlord, Tenant Unit Registration request or the Move-in Request.

What are the differences?

  • Landlord Registration – if you own the unit, but don't live in it.

  • Tenant Registration – if already moved into the unit.

  • Move in, whether you're a landlord or a tenant who is just moving into the unit.

Apply for your request

If you’re not yet registered to a unit or you are just moving in, follow these steps:

1. Access the Request Section

  • Open the Socienta app, log in to your account, then click on Add Request from the home screen. The request page will open for you with the three mentioned request options

2. Select Landlord, Tenant Registration, or Move-in request

From the list of request types, choose:

  • Landlord Registration – if you own the unit, but don't live in it.

  • Tenant Registration – if already moved into the unit.

  • Move in - whether you're a landlord or a tenant who is just moving into the unit.

3. Fill Out the Registration Form

  • A request form will appear.
  • Fill in all the required fields and upload the requested documents.

4. After filling in all the requested information and documents, read the terms and conditions, click on I agree with the terms and conditions, then on Submit.

5. Track Your Request Status

After your Landlord or Tenant Unit Registration request is successfully submitted, you will be able to track it under My Requests.

Alternatively, You Can Track Your Request By:

  • Clicking on See All in the Requests section

  • Viewing a complete list of your submitted requests, along with their current status (Pending, Approved, or Rejected)

  • You’ll also receive a notification once your request has been approved or declined

6. Chat with the Community Manager or Company Representative (Optional)

If you need to follow up on your request:

  • Click See Details from the list of requests

  • Tap the chat icon in the bottom-right corner

  • Start a conversation with your Community Manager or Company Representative

Tips & Tricks

  • If you're applying for yourself, always choose "For Myself" and select whether you're a Landlord, Tenant, or Guest.

  • If you're submitting a request for someone else, choose "For Someone Else" and define their role (Tenant or Guest).

  • Use the chat feature to quickly follow up on request status or provide additional clarification.

  • If you’re having trouble finding your submitted requests, click on “See All” under Requests for a full overview.
