Overview

"Monthly Occupancy (by Area)" is a dynamic and insightful metric designed to track and visualize the occupancy levels by total area each month over a specified period. This metric illustrates how much space within a set of communities is actually being used, it also shows the Area in sqft for each month which helps them understand trends and make informed decisions.

How is it Calculated?

The calculation of these metrics uses aggregated data to provide a clear picture of occupancy trends over time using the following formula:

Graph Components

  1. Y-Axis (Left Side - Green Bars): Shows the percentage of how much of the total available area was occupied in each month.
  2. Y-Axis (Right Side - Orange Line): Represents the total area available in square feet (SqFt). This line is consistent across the months, indicating that the total area hasn't changed significantly over the period displayed.
  3. X-Axis: Lists the months providing a timeline for the data.
