Overview

"Overstayed" is a critical metric used in property management to identify units that are occupied beyond their lease terms without a formal extension. This metric tracks residents who continue to live in units even though their leases have expired and no legal constraints prevent them from leaving. This information is crucial for managing tenant relations and ensuring efficient unit turnover.

This metric is calculated using the following formula:
 

Where to Find This Metric?

  1. Go to the Global-View in Socienta (eg. https://dune.socienta.io/).
  2. Click on the Dashboard icon (Socienta).
  3. Navigate to the PM Occupancy Dashboard (Socienta)
  4. Not available units tab.
  5. Filter the data by date to view specific metrics for that date.
