How to Transfer Balance?

You can Transfer the Balance from the accounting screen in the property group itself:

From the Global View, choose the property group where you want to transfer a balance.



Access the Accounting Module

Click on Accounting to enter the accounting section of the selected property group.



Navigate to Units Financials

Choose Service Charges under Units Financials.



Access the Unit Ledger

On the Service Charges screen, click the information icon under the Action column. This will open the unit ledger for the selected unit.



Transfer the Balance

  • Click the Actions button again and select Transfer Balance.
  • The ledger screen will update, allowing you to select specific invoices for transfer.


Complete the Transfer

  • Choose the invoices you want to transfer and click proceed.
  • A pop-up screen will appear where you can select the owner you want to transfer to, along with the transfer date and the type of transfer (full amount or based on the date).
  • After selecting the details, click Transfer.



Review the Transfer

  • Once you click Transfer, you will see the in and out transaction entries related to the transfer and the involved owners.



Important Note:

  • The transfer should align with the invoice period from which the balance is being transferred to ensure accurate financial records.
